Counsel

Lawrence B. Hammet II (Beau)

ALABAMA, TENNESSEE

Beau has practiced law for over 30 years, devoting much of his work representing parties doing business in the construction industry. The construction industry is a natural fit for Beau, who grew up with his family’s construction business. This background has served him well in his practice.

His legal experiences include dispute resolution of construction matters by means of trial, arbitration, or mediation. In addition, he is often engaged to draft documents, contracts, and forms for use by owners, contractors, subcontractors, and vendors in operating their respective businesses. Over time, he has expanded his practice to other areas of law, such as Oil and Gas rights, business organizations, drafting governance documents, and non-construction commercial disputes.

Beau’s approach with each client is to form a professional relationship based on trust, truth, and transparency. This allows for open discussions of each matter, inclusive of facts, plan of action, potential outcomes, and desired goal. Using this approach has led to successful engagements and long-term clients.

Beau and his wife have recently relocated to the New Orleans area and are happy to be here. They are proud parents of three daughters whom they love dearly.
