At Krebs Farley, we’re always looking for qualified lateral attorneys. We welcome applications from attorneys at all levels of experience and require excellent credentials from our prospective hires. We think this commitment to excellence is critical to serving our clients’ needs at the highest standard. Our attorneys’ salaries and benefits are highly competitive with other law firms in our legal markets.
The attorneys at Krebs Farley are professionals and are treated that way. We expect a minimum of 1,900 hours annually from each of our attorneys. There is no fixed policy regarding vacations, but we encourage our attorneys to take time off as their workload permits. We also encourage our attorneys to attend practice area-related conferences and bar association networking events. We are happy to invest in our lawyers and will work with our attorneys to meet their own professional goals.
Interested lateral attorneys should submit a resume and a 5-10 page writing sample here.
Krebs Farley hosts a clerkship program for law students during the summer between their second and third years. Second year law students are welcome to apply at OCI programs at Tulane, LSU, SMU, and Loyola. Interested students may also submit a resume, academic transcript, and a 3-5 page writing sample here. We look for law students in the top 15% of their class, having interesting and sometimes unconventional work experience, and an entrepreneurial spirit.
The goal of the summer clerkship program is to offer law students a glimpse into what it will be like to work at Krebs Farley during their first year. Summer clerks will perform substantive work on real cases and get experience doing all manner of litigation and transactional work. But it’s not all work and no play. We have plenty of lunches and clerk events that allow the clerks to meet and interact with our attorneys in a more relaxed atmosphere.
