Laura represents a diverse range of clients, including secured and unsecured creditors, banks, hedge funds, trustees, debtors, and other key stakeholders, in complex insolvency and adversary proceedings across multiple industries.

These industries include restaurants, retail, financial services, maritime, oil and gas, construction, and real estate development. She skillfully negotiates and drafts complex workout agreements, motions, and enforcement litigation related to bankruptcy cases.

Her practice also includes defending clients in class actions under the federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), involving claims related to “blast text,” “blast fax,” and robocall restrictions.

An active member of the Louisiana Bankruptcy Bar, Laura serves on the board of the Louisiana Turnaround Management Association and is the past chair of the Louisiana Network of the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation. Before joining Krebs Farley, she was a partner at Jones Walker and served as a law clerk to the Honorable Ivan L.R. Lemelle of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.
