Prior to attending law school, Megan earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Middle Eastern Studies from Washington and Lee University. She graduated cum laude from LSU Law School in 2017, where she received a certificate in Civil Law in addition to her law degree. While at LSU, she served on the Editorial Board as a Senior Associate for the LSU Journal of Energy Law and Resources and was a published member. She was an extern for the Honorable Judge William J. “Will” Crain of the Louisiana First Circuit Court of Appeals, and teaching assistant to Professor Raymond Diamond. Megan was a Chancellor’s Scholar and received CALI Awards for the Highest Grade in International Water Law, Real Estate Transactions, BioEthics, and Gaming Law.

Diamond Services Corp. v. RLB Contracting, Inc., 2023 WL 2145976 (S.D. Tex. 2023). The firm won summary judgment in favor of our client, a Miller Act surety, on the grounds that the claimant did not comply with the notice requirements under the Miller Act and because the equitable adjustment claim brought by the Miller Act claimant was barred as a matter of law.
